- Description
- This company are looking for 2 embedded software engineers to work on complex real time control of mechanical systems. The team is expanding and the Manager would like to hear from junior embedded software engineers with a year or so experience and more experienced embedded software engineers.
Salaries range from £28,000 to £48,000 for the right candidates and come with an excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday, a 6% pension, annual bonus, share options, life insurance, free parking and possible assistance with relocation.
Suitable embedded software engineers should have hands-on experience delivering complex, real-time embedded C software to control electronic and/or mechanical technologies and a track record of creating new software designs.
Desirable skills:
- Microcontrollers - STM32 family, using IAR tool chain (or equivalent)
- Multithreaded application development: FreeRTOS / SafeRTOS (or equivalent)
- C# / .NET for Windows CE and PC applications
- Use of Enterprise Architect, Doxygen tools
- Use of Design Patterns
- User Interface Libraries & Design Tools (Visual Studio or equivalent)
- Static Analysis Tools: PC-Lint (or similar)
- Software Unit Testing: VectorCAST (or similar)
- Bug-Tracking & Configuration Management: SubVersion & JIRA or equivalent
- Agile/SCRUM software delivery methodology
