- Technical Application Engineer vacancy to provide embedded systems expertise to customers throughout the entire sales process. The Application Engineer will work closely with 1 or more Sales Managers in meeting customers, understanding and defining their requirements, developing technical proposals and working with product managers and the engineering team to deliver very high end embedded products. In addition, this hugely varied role will involve attending trade shows, developing demos, benchmarking applications and giving presentations.
The role has excellent career potential, previous application engineers have progressed to Senior Sales positions and VP of product engineering. Although technical, this is a very sales based job and includes a 25-30% bonus based on finding new business opportunities. It is a very diverse position, exposing you to an incredible variety of systems, companies, people and the latest technology.
If successful in this role you can expect to travel within the UK and Europe for approximately 25% of your working week.

- Embedded Software Engineer background
- RTOS and Linux expertise
- Board level systems
- C programming
