- Senior Systems Design Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Systems Design Engineer to provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle for an expanding division of an aerospace organisation. This role is vital in leading systems design and integration related to power generation and distribution systems. Other responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the customer on system requirements definition.
- Requirements management and compliance analysis.
- System design including architectures, performance analysis and integration aspects.
- Taking responsibility for systems related decisions and providing the systems interface to the customer.
- Participating in system test rig design and commissioning.
- Support the system testing facility on site.
- Take technical responsibility for the work of others and ensure the highest quality is maintained.
- Generate project plans and monthly execution plans and present these to various internal teams.
- Play a key role in promoting the product capability to customers.
For this role you will need:
- A strong background in systems design and integration.
- A degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience of using DOORS software.
- Experience of working within the aerospace or other safety critical discipline.
- System architecture decomposition and definition, integration, requirement definition, validation implementation verification etc.
