- Development and Test Manager
A Development and Test Manager is required to join a leading company in the aviation market who pride themselves on being at the heart of strategy and the forefront of research in their area. The Mechanical Development Team carries out development and qualification testing work packages to meet specific customer requirements.
You will be responsible for the management of all mechanical development activities to support project time restrictions and meet budget requirements, as well as day to day management of the team to include attendance, holidays and sickness.
As a Development and Test Manager some of your daily tasks will include; allocating both facilities, equipment and staff to specific projects, estimating and reporting task duration and coordinating with lead engineers to further understand customer needs in order to be able to estimate forward demand.
Development and Test Manager:
- Experience in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience in Development and Qualification test activities.
- Proven track record of successful leadership and personnel management.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Happy to occasionally travel to other sites.
