We are looking for a Test Engineer to join an expanding hi-tech organisation who are just about to move into a new modern manufacturing facility. The role will be diverse working in a small but expanding team focussing mainly on the testing of AC-DC switch mode power supplies. The company will look at graduate electronic engineers or a proven test engineer with experience of working in a relevant hi-tech field. Other responsibilities with the role will include:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Support design engineers in the testing and de-bugging of equipment.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Accurate measuring and recording of results.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Soldering smd and through hole components.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â EMC, thermal and SVT testing.
For the role you will need to have:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Either an electronics graduate or experienced test engineer.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â HNC or degree level qualified.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ideally experience of working on the testing of switch mode power supplies or a similar hi-tech product.
