- Senior Technician
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technician who has experience in the test and repair of both electronic and mechanical assemblies to join a pioneering, hi-tech engineering organisation. In this role you will be responsible for the fault finding, inspection and refurbishment of rental equipment or warranty returns as well as taking a lead in the electro-mechanical site maintenance and the service of in-house testing equipment. Other responsibilities will include:
- To co-ordinate Health and Safety and Quality data and deputise for the Site Representative.
- You will work closely with other teams to manage both the Facilities Maintenance and Repair Component budgets.
- Supporting Projects, Warehouse and Workshop functions as necessary.
Senior Technician Requirements:
- A relevant engineering qualification.
- Experience of both Mechanical and Electronic assembly and test.
- Able to fault find down to component level.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
- Basic understanding of MRP systems.
- Experience using complex test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes)
- Knowledge of quality systems.
