- Software Engineer in Test
This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer in Test to work for an internationally renowned company whose recent projects include working with wireless medical technology and communication systems in Air Traffic Control and global satellites.
Main duties of the role include delivering high quality code by designing and developing test frameworks for large software systems and communicating system problems to other software engineers within the team.
Candidates interested in filling the Software Engineer in Test position will have strong experience programming in Python and be eager to work alongside others as part of a multidisciplinary project team. In addition, ideal candidates will also be comfortable working in a client facing position where they may have to occasionally participate in meetings with current and prospective clients.
Software Engineer in Test skills required:
- Strong experience with Python
- An understanding of both hardware and software, build systems and source control
- Linux
- Experience working with networking
- Programming in C
- BSc in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or an Engineering equivalent
