We are looking for a Windows Applications Software Engineer to join the market leader in the private vehicle hire/taxi dispatch communications market. The company is expecting future growth and their product set is under continual development, therefore they are seeking individuals to join and strengthen their knowledge in mobile and web development.
The main duty of the role is developing applications in a windows environment programming in C++. However, the company allows the opportunity for employees to utilise existing and newly developed skills to work in all areas of their technology stack which covers a variety of platforms including iOS, Pocket PC and Windows Desktop.
Windows Applications Software Engineer skills required:
- Experience with developing applications in a windows environment using C++ and MFC
Desirable skills:
- Experience with data networking and mobile communications
- Experience with any of the following: Java, Objective C, ASP.Net, JavaScript, C#, HTML, JQuery, SQL
- Developing applications against a MS SQL Server database
- Microsoft Certified Professional
Education required:
- BSc in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or an Engineering equivalent
