- Senior Production Planner
Working in a busy hi-tech engineering organisation you will take responsibility for processing and progressing instructions from Project Managers ensuring that all required hardware is procured, built and tested to the agreed schedule. Other responsibilities with the role include:
- Ensuring that manufacturing orders are generated in a timely manner to support the build of hardware to the agreed build standard.
- Ensure that materials are available to achieve output forecasts.
- Keeping the project and manufacturing mangers updated on delivery schedule and performance against budget.
- Raising manufacturing orders to support build and test activities.
- Identify long lead times and arrange timely procurement.
- Use the MRP system to ensure route card routings are correct.
- Liaise with various different internal engineering teams.
For this position you will need:
- A strong background of working as a Production Planner in a hi-tech manufacturing facility.
- Experience of working with MRP/ERP systems.
- Clear communicator at all levels.
