Based in Rugby with UK and European travel
This is a unique role which offers the chance to use a Scientific and technical knowledge whilst driving sales in various different markets on an expanding and innovative product range. A key part in the role will be identifying new sales opportunities whilst also maintaining and developing existing customers and distributors within the UK and Northern Europe. The position will give you the chance to develop European academic research, commercial research, laser based measurement and industrial applications markets.
As a Technical Sales Engineer you will need to be from either a Laser or Optics related background as this role will work closely with understanding customer’s applications which is vital for developing and identifying the correct technical solutions from an extensive product range. You will also then provide pricing and manage the complete sales process to ensure absolute customer satisfaction.
Technical Sales Engineer Requirements:
- A degree in a Physical Science related discipline.
- At least 2 years’ experience of working within the Laser or related technical field either with experience or a desire to get into sales.
