As a test engineer you will find yourself performing many different functions but essentially you will be required to ensure that a product is designed for both testability and manufacturability. In other words, to make sure that the product can be readily tested and built – and this starts from the initial design stage and goes right through to production and beyond. Working as a test engineer can give you the opportunity to work in a wide variety of different industries and applications which can range from testing audio products through to large scale aerospace components. You could find yourself working on anything from everyday products and household names to more specialised unusual applications. On the job front we can help at entry test engineer level, all the way up to test management level, and would welcome speaking with applicants with a variety of different backgrounds and experiences within the test engineering industry.
