- Software Engineers required to work in a 70 strong start-up, founded by a team of highly experienced software engineers and entrepreneurs who have a proven track record of numerous successful technology start-ups. At their office in South Cambridge they develop products which are changing the landscape in their industry and have recently taken on an additional $40m to help them grow.
It doesn’t matter which programming languages software engineers have used in the past, if you are a strong problem solver and have a history of high achievements they are willing to invest time in training you. Most development work is carried out in C++ and Python but extends to Java, Swift, JavaScript and others.
It’s a very relaxed, down to earth, research and development focused environment. One thing software engineers like in particular is the weekly “new ideas” morning where they openly discuss upcoming technologies and ideas for future features.
Due to the highly technical nature of the work and their track record of success through employing the very best engineers, they have high standards. An excellent academic background is essential, you will need to have mostly A/A* grade A levels and a degree from a top University. We would like to hear from recent Graduate Software Engineers and those with 2+ years experience. C/C++ and Python experience desirable, but by no means essential.
They know that their great products and commercial success come directly from the technical passion that their development teams put into their work; consequently they make sure they provide an environment that cultivates the talents of graduate software engineers.
