A Java Software Developer, with demonstrable experience of high quality Java code development on a Linux system is needed to join an innovative telecommunications software firm based in near Southampton. This Java Software Engineer would be joining a very tight-knit team, in a relaxed, dress-down environment but with an emphasis on delivering high-quality code to their very well-known clients.
As a Java Software Engineer you’ll be part of a team working on applications for communications platforms as well as multimedia and messaging solutions. In this Java Software Engineer role you will be primarily working with Java in Linux: designing, writing and testing high-quality code for their core product line.
The firm is looking for Java Software Engineer with strong academic records who have a flexible approach to getting the job done. You will also have to demonstrate experience working with Java in industry, and it is definitely worth mentioning any hobby projects you have, as this like-minded team all love to tinker with personal projects in their spare time.
Required Qualifications: 2:1 or higher degree in a numerate discipline, Strong A-level results (ideally including Maths)
