Hands-on design position for an Graduate Electronics Engineer with some software experience to join a mutli-national company who are based in Essex (not far from the sea). This engineering firm are dedicated to the design, manufacture and world-wide marketing of a broad range of semiconductor products, primarily for the global communications market.
This Graduate Electronics / Software Engineer job is a hands-on electronic design role for an engineer with the ability to design PCB hardware and develop program in any of C, Python or assembly languages.
You will also get involved in liaison with chip designers, software and production test engineers as well as working with their applications engineers to support customers.
Key skills will for this Graduate Electronics / Software Engineer job include a thorough understanding and experience of:
- Ideally you will have a good degree in electronic engineering or similar discipline, and perhaps 1/2 years experience of software and electronics circuit design
- Knowledge of wireless digital communication would be desirable
- Programming in C, Python or other assembly languages
- Component level electronic circuit design
