Junior Developer (Pioneering Technology)

Up to £30k (dependent on experience)
With pioneering technology which will soon touch all of our lives and revolutionise the retail industry, a Junior Developer is needed to join this growing research and development company.
Whether you’re fresh out of university or have a couple of years commercial experience, if you have programmed in C, C++ or .Net or have good working knowledge of these languages then this is the ideal role for you! As a Junior Developer, you’ll be working with the company’s niche patented display and low power communications technology.
Working in a team with 4 senior and 2 junior engineers in a newly refurbished office, Junior Developers will get involved with a variety of projects straight away with great mentoring from more experienced colleagues.
Although the work you’ll be doing when you start will be specific to one particular area, there is ample room for progression and development in the company which will allow you as a Junior Developer to expand into different teams and pick up new skills.

Junior Developer requirements:

  • A 2:1 or 1st Class Degree in Computer Science or a similar equivalent
  • Commercial experience/ good working knowledge of C, C++ and .Net
  • Demonstrable passion for software development (e.g. home projects)
Desirable:
 
·         Scripting skills (e.g. Python)
·         Embedded Linux
·         Hardware interfacing software
·         Networking skills
