- Product Quality Manager
A Quality Manager is required to join an expanding, hi-tech engineering organisation who have recently won awards for being the leader in their market. You will work as part of an expanding UK team who have grown by 20% in the past year. Working closely with counterparts in the USA and sub-contract manufacturers in Asia, the main purpose of the role will be to manage the QA and QC activities throughout the supply chain and you will be a key member of the core ISO9001 QMS team. Other responsibilities will include;
- Ensure that suppliers are conforming to quality standards and actively drive continuous improvement.
- Work with appropriate teams to analyse field failures and work to identify a root cause and ultimately resolve the issue.
- Work closely with the NPI team to embed quality for all new products, throughout the design cycle.
- Carry out both internal and supplier audits as required.
Product Quality Manager Requirements:
- Strong manufacturing background and extensive experience with ISO9001.
- A strong understanding of Electronic principles including PCB manufacture.
- A relevant degree (or equivalent).
- An expert in process and design FMEA, root cause and 8D with the ability to be hands on if necessary.
- Experience working with offshore sub-contract manufacturers.
- Experience working with ISO14001 or TS16949.
- Experience with PPAP.
- Ability to speak Mandarin.
