Technical Junior Project Manager
 

Opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join one of Cambridges recent success stories.  A high tech company who have assembled a team of world class engineers that have developed ground breaking technology used by consumer electronics manufacturers to make their products the best in class.
 

This Junior Project Manager will be the bridge between Programme Management, Product Management and the various engineering teams (Electronics, Software, Mechanical, Systems).  Things move at a fast pace, which can be hectic at times but also incredibly energising.  You will learn lots in this job, it’s a great stepping stone to more senior positions and the company will look great on your CV.
 

To qualify for interview, you’ll need some previous experience in Project Co-ordination or Project Management in a technology environment, plus some kind of technical understanding in order to communicate with engineers.  You don’t need to be an engineer (although that might help) but at least some engineering fundamentals.

Technical Junior Project Manager desirable skills 

  • Project Management experience
  • Relevant qualification, e.g. PMI-CAPM, APM-PFQ, AgilePM
