- A company developing cutting edge big data transfer technology is expanding their team and looking for a Cyber-Security Software Engineer with C/C++ & java. This company is renowned across the world for pushing the boundaries of computing performance, allowing hugely intensive data applications to run in the shortest possible time.
The Cyber-Security Software Engineer would be working to develop the platform in order to provide the most comprehensive security solutions, using C/C++ & java. The applications of the technology are used in a variety of industries such as oil and gas, processing seismic data or in the financial industry calculating real-time risk from large amounts of data.
Cyber-Security Software Engineer required skills:
- Programming knowledge of C/C++, Java and/or Python
- Experience with TCP/IP Networking
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, Physics or related discipline
Desirable:
- Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Familiarity with Snort rules
- Firewalls and Packet Filtering (DPI/SPI)
- Anomaly Detection
- Malware and Exploits
