Description
FPGA Design Engineer/Electronics Engineer
A London based company that design custom hardware platforms such as acceleration cards that deliver high speed network capabilities are looking for FPGA design engineers.

The FPGA design engineers will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team designing products for large scale data use in sectors such as finance, networking and communications.

Responsibilities will range with experience.

New FPGA design engineer hires are expected to communicate efficiently, take responsibility, and grow alongside tasks and projects as the company reaches additional markets and opportunities.

A Senior FPGA Design Engineer will also have experience in managing the design and delivery of systems from early design to final installation in a production environment, communicating with key stakeholders and accepting responsibility for on time delivery and budget handling.

Requirements for FPGA Design Engineer

Essential:
·         Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
·         Experience in digital circuit design preferably using VHDL for FPGAs

Desirable:
·         Multi-layer PCB design and debug with FPGAs
·         High-speed digital design (e.g. QDR/DDR memory interfaces, PCI-express, 10G Ethernet, InfiniBand
·         Product design and test experience e.g. (EMC compliance)
·         Systems/device driver programming for Linux in C.
·         Knowledge of object oriented software techniques in Java or C++
