- Maintenance Engineering Team Leader
£33k-£37k plus 30% shift premium
The position will be shift based
Working at a state of the art clean room manufacturing facility as a Maintenance Engineering Team Leader you will take responsibility for leading all equipment engineering improvements, whilst providing production support for equipment breakdowns across the site. The position does require a strong leadership ethic as you will take responsibility for a small teams of engineers. Other responsibilities will include:
- Providing an effective preventative maintenance schedule to improve processes across the group.
- Setting and reviewing personal objectives within the team and conducting performance reviews.
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve the capabilities of all equipment on site.
- Ensure all of the engineering workload is priorities and communicated in a timely manner.
- Looking into long term equipment improvement strategies to impact the rest of the business.
For this role you will need:
- Ideally a HND or above in an engineering discipline.
- Experience of managing and developing maintenance engineering teams within a hi-tech manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of fault finding on PLC systems.
- An understanding of working with I/O logic and embedded pc automation equipment, robotic systems & chemical handling systems.
