Description
Field Service Engineer

 

A Field Service Engineer is required to join an expanding division of a hi-tech engineering company, specialising in a range of metrology equipment. You will be responsible for attending customer sites to carry out the service and repair work on a range of electro-mechanical machinery.

You will work to maintain, install, service, commission and calibrate both new and relocated machinery. You will also be trained on updating CRM systems to log work.

The role will cover the whole of the UK and Ireland and the ideal candidate will live somewhere within the midlands as this is the area of highest service demand.

 

Field Service Engineer Requirements:
  • Qualification in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience solving complex ‘system’ type problems within a Service/Maintenance environment.
  • Good understanding of electrical and mechanical principles with an understanding of metrology products.
  • Full UK driving license.
