- Windows application development in C++ and C# to control scientific instruments. We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in C++ and C# on Windows for an urgent project so it’s important that you are available to start immediately, the company are happy to take on a contractor or a permanent member of staff.
You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team of Software Engineers, Electronics Engineers and Scientists but will have lots of autonomy to develop solutions using the techniques and technologies of your choosing. Although the initial critical project is Windows based, there will also be opportunities to the work on embedded control software.
Essential requirements for the Windows Software Engineer:
- C++ and C#
- Visual Studio
- Windows GUI development, likely with MFC or WPF
- Previous experience with scientific instrumentation
- Embedded C
- Control systems
- Micro-controllers, ARM, FPGA
- Automation programming or manufacturing testing
