Description
NPI Manufacturing Process Engineer

Southampton

Working as a Process Engineer you will have access to help shape manufacturing processes for a hi-tech electronics organisation whose products can be used in a multitude of applications worldwide. This role will appeal to an engineer with an ambitious attitude who is keen to progress and become an integral member of a cross functional NPI team. You will need to have the ability to influence the design of new products to ensure the seamless introduction of new products into manufacture. Other responsibilities will include:

-              Driving continuous improvement through the identification and implementation of improvement projects.

-              Take responsibility for leading project driven changes.


-              Provide problem solving methods to production lines to help ensure root cause corrective actions and identified.


-              Support all NPI teams acting as the key member for manufacturing engineering input into new developments.

-              Assist in the training of staff on new products, processes and equipment.

For this role you will need:


-              A strong manufacturing background and process background.


-              Experience of working on NPI projects.

-              Degree or HNC level qualified in electronics or a related engineering field.


-              A self-motivated driven engineer who has the ability to drive and influence projects at all levels.

-              Six sigma or lean manufacturing experience is desirable.
