Well-funded start-up who have recently secured £5m, are currently re-implementing their product with a new scalable architecture and require an experienced Java Developer to create custom GUI components and underlying code.  The Java Developer will distil complex data from the core of the product and translate that into valuable interfaces for the customer.   

The company have an impressive board, including the chairman who has previously founded a leading company in this field.  It’s an exciting time to join as they have recently signed licencing agreements to provide their technology to a number of key players in this space.

We would like to hear from experienced Java Developers who have previously created custom graphics components, ideally using Eclipse/SWT.

Java Developer essentials skills:
  • Excellent Java
  • Custom GUI components
  • Happy to work with Linux and Windows
Java Developer desirable skills:
  • Eclipse plugins
  • Use of SWT for GUI
  • C++, C++11
  • Python
Position: Java Developer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £40-60k
