Description
Embedded Software Engineer (Grad-Senior)

Grad/Junior Engineer= £30-40k  Engineer= Up to £55k

Company that is the world’s leading independent design and manufacturer specialising in manufacturing applications is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team. This position is for both candidates at Senior and Graduate/Junior level.

Working in a small agile team, Embedded Software Engineers will be developing, testing, debugging and supporting the customer adoption the company’s intricate, high tech machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve working on technology such as low level hardware drivers and real time operating systems. Those at a senior level will also be able to discuss and implement customer requests into the development of the company’s product

Embedded Software Engineer requirements:
  • Embedded software development
  • C/C++
  • Experience testing software
Desirable:
  • C# Windows Development
  • GUI experience
  • Python development
  • Use of agile task & bug management with Jira or similar
  • ARM Cortex or 8051 PSOC programming
  • Ethernet and/or TCP/IP protocols using asynchronous communications & programming
  • Scrum or other Agile development processes and methods (e.g. CI/CD/TDD)
  • Use of mocking libraries
  • SQL/MySQL databases
