- Electromagnetic Design Engineer
This is a unique opportunity where you will get the chance to help shape Electromagnetic machine design for an organisation who are at the forefront of technology for a variety of aerospace applications. This role will offer a mix of working in a small team environment alongside world class engineers assisted by the backing of a huge multinational company who have ambitious plans for the development of new technology initiatives. Working at their state of the art purpose built facility you will become a central member of the team providing a key link on a range of projects working with various internal teams.
The product range focusses on complex rotating machine design initiatives where you will undertake all aspects of electromagnetic design. This will include performance evaluation of new products from initial concept through completion of qualification testing and into service. The role will also work on the thermal analysis of electromagnetic components whilst assisting in all technology initiatives for future ideas.
For this role you will need:
- A proven track record of working on the design and analysis of electromagnetic machinery with a strong focus on rotating machinery.
- A degree or PhD in a relevant field.
- The ability to work in a cross functional team solving complex technical problems.
- A strong communicator at all levels with a passion for world class design and innovation.
The position is based on the Herts/Beds/Bucks border with relocation assistance provided for right candidate.
