Description
Optical Test and Development Engineer

Working on the development on next generation optical sensors you will play an important role in the testing and development of technology that is being used in a range of industries across the world. Working with a team of talented engineers you will get the chance to work on a product range that is truly unique and constantly evolving in an environment where innovation is at the heart of the business.

The position is varied and will involve testing, troubleshooting and developing fibre sensing products working with teams of cross functional engineers. You will also create and maintain test procedures and documentation to support product releases whilst also ensuring the continuous improvement of production test stations.

For the role we will consider a range of experience levels but candidates will need to have some experience of working with optics related products so lasers/photonics/ optoelectronics.

You will ideally have a degree in Physics or a related field ideally with some industry experience of working in a test capacity but graduates will also be considered if they have the skills to develop in this field.

A strong background in fault finding and troubleshooting is needed and any LabView skills would be a real advantage.
