- Lead Software Developer required to join an emergent start-up company in Cambridge. This role is ideal for a Senior Software Developer who would like to work on a broad selection of the latest technologies covering mobile, cloud and web. As a growing company, software developers don’t tend to get stuck working on a single thing – there’s usually a chance (and expectation) to learn multiple technologies (right now it’s Node.js, Docker, Angular).
Although the company is in its early stages, they are already profitable and have won long term projects with international clients, involving a variety of challenging and original work.
The founders are flexible in their requirements, they have the view that if you are highly skilled in at least one object orientated language (e.g. C++ or Java) then you will be able to learn the skills they are using on the job (currently cloud platforms, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL, REST, cloud services, Android and iOS).
We would like to hear from Senior Software Developers who meet the following profile:
- Strong Object Orientated programming in C++, Java or similar
- Ability to lead a small team (Technical Lead/Scrum Master)
- Ability to interact with customers

The role offers a chance to learn some very in-demand skills in a start-up with plans to grow. The package includes share options and the flexibility of some work from home (most of their developers work from home on a Friday).
