- Stress Engineer
From Junior to senior level
Due to major expansion we are looking for Stress Engineers to work on a range of projects for an expanding aerospace organisation. The main bulk of the work will be carrying out modelling, simulation and analysis and validation work on rotating machinery. Other responsibilities will include:
- Thermal, vibration, structural FEA analysis using Ansys Workbench.
- Delivering multiple stress related work packages.
- Working closely with programme managers to keep on top of the latest customer needs.
- Driving improvements to processes and procedures.
- Authoring reviewing and approving engineering documentation related to stress activities.
For the position you will need:
- An engineering degree in a mechanical related field.
- Significant FEA experience.
- A strong appreciation of rotor dynamics and thermal analysis.
The company have a range of positions open from junior level so 2 years +
industry experience up to senior level.
