Description
Distribution Specialist - Import

 
We are currently seeking a Distribution Specialist to join a rapidly expanding, hi-tech engineering company. You will join a newly established team with new processes to support ongoing projects.

You will play a vital role within the Imports team Reviewing documentation and keeping detailed records and administration of all imports to the company. You may also support the export division and have great progression opportunities within the business.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Provide clearance instructions – CPC codes/commodity codes
  • Review import documentation
  • Review monthly reports from HMRC
  • Record keeping and administration of all imports
  • Record keeping and administration of all international returns
  • Assign commodity codes to new products and materials.
  • documentation for air or road exports

Distribution Specialist – Import Requirements:
  • Proven experience of export/import processes.
  • Excel/MS Office.
  • Problem solving
  • Commodity code definition
  • EUR1/ATR/Certificate of Origin/Carnet applications

Desirable
  • IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
  • SAP
