Reputable company with a renowned worldwide presence is looking for 2 Software Test Engineers to join their team focussing on both manual and automated testing for their complex data management systems.
If you are a recent graduate, then this is a fantastic first role to have after university as you will receive excellent training in this particular branch of software engineering.
For Junior-Senior Software Test Engineers, this is your chance to progress into position where you’ll be working for a global name, testing their high tech product that is used by a number of different industries with large amounts of data.
As a Software Test Engineer, the main scripting language you will be using is Python. However if you’re more familiar with languages such as JavaScript, Perl, Ruby etc. then that isn’t a problem as you’ll be properly trained in using Python to get you up to speed within the company.
As a graduate you will need:
Scripting/testing experience
- This experience could be from your university course or from an internship/placement.
- You’ll need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of testing principles
A technical degree
- Preferably in Computer Science
- STEM grads in general are encouraged to apply as long as you have good software programming/scripting knowledge.
- Windows OS
- Manual Software Testing
- Writing test cases
- Fault analysis and raising bug records
