- Description
- We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer with a strong technical background in FPGA, who has a passion for working with safety critical systems in harsh environments.
As an Application Engineer you will be the companies FPGA expert. You will need to have outstanding customer interaction skills as you will be involved in all phases of pre- and post-sale technical support. You will be assessing potential application of company products to meet the customer’s needs, and work with the development, engineering and sales teams to architect solutions to projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with FPGA/VHDL experience, as well as in embedded systems/hardware, as well as knowledge of signal processing from a regulated industry.
Requirements of the Application Engineer
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering
- Experience of FPGA/VHDL
- Practical experience in embedded systems/safety critical industries
- Strong understanding of the sales process
- Knowledge of real time operating system software
