Description
Test Automation Engineer (C#/GUI)

Up to £45k

Do you have strong test automation experience at Windows desktop application level? If so, this is a great opportunity for you to join a company specialising in creating complex internal system measurement products with excellent career progression opportunities.

At present, the company does not have an in-house team specialising in test automation. As the Test Automation Engineer, you will be joining a team of 4 and will be the go-to engineer for anything test automation related. The company is looking to expand on test automation in the future so there is the opportunity for you to progress into team lead position.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the automation architecture and framework that will run scripted automatic tests on the company’s applications. The company’s suite consists of Windows GUI applications, so you will need to be familiar with Winforms/WPF or MVVM. In addition, although the main development/scripting language is C#, those with a Python or Java scripting background should not hesitate in applying if you have the relevant technical background.

Test Automation Engineer requirements:
  • Windows (desktop application)
  • Test automation environment experience (e.g. TestStack, SpecFlow, Test Studio etc.)
  • C#/Python/Java scripting
  • Familiarity with Winforms, WPF or MVVM
