Stress Engineer
From Junior to Senior level
Due to major expansion we are looking for Stress Engineers to work on a range of projects focussing on rotor dynamics technology. The main bulk of the work will be carrying out modelling, simulation and analysis and validation work on rotating machinery.
The company are based at a state of the art design and manufacturing facility where they are working on a wide range of projects ranging from aerospace to drone technology. Although rotating or power electronics experience is desirable the company will consider bright stress engineers who have a strong appreciation of thermal and vibration analysis.
Other responsibilities will include:
Thermal, vibration, structural FEA analysis using Ansys Workbench.
Delivering multiple stress related work packages.
Working closely with programme managers to keep on top of the latest customer needs.
Driving improvements to processes and procedures.
Authoring reviewing, and approving engineering documentation related to stress activities.
For the position you will need:
An engineering degree in a mechanical related field.
ANSYS experience
An understanding of thermal and vibration analysis.
Significant FEA experience.
