Optical engineering company with c70 staff and a long history in successful product development are looking for an additional Software Engineer to join their team of 7.  You will work on custom product development, mostly C# on windows but you will also have the opportunity to tackle some C++, embedded C or Linux driver code too.  They have 3 main product lines and due to the highly customised nature of the work, projects are varied.  This has huge appeal to the current software engineers and they tend to stay with company long term.
The products are engineered for medium volume production in the region of 100 to 2500 units and projects typically last between 6-18 months.  We are looking for an experienced software engineer with expertise in Windows development using C# and ideally WPF.
Any experience with the following will help your application – C/C++, WPF, WCF, Embedded, Linux, device drivers, SQL Server, Subversion/Git or similar, ASP.net, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
