Description
Mechanical/Electrical Fitters

 
We are looking for both a Mechanical Fitter & Electrical Fitter to join an expanding organisation working on the design of hi-tech scientific products which can be used in a diverse range of applications across the world.

For both roles you will need to be able to understand engineering drawings and carry out relevant tests and commissioning in your relevant field.

It will be a very diverse role where you will be involved in the assembly and build of a range of complex products that could take up to a week at a time, you will be working to very high standards where precision and quality are paramount, this role has great development and a steep learning curve apply now to find out more or contact Tom Davies at Enterprise recruitment.

Mechanical Fitter responsibilities:

  • Correctly use and maintain the tools of the trade including power tools, test equipment and measuring instruments.
  • Carry out mechanical fitting and relevant assembly work.
  • Reading mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Build to sample/build to verbal instructions.
  • Mechanical duties, such as: cutting, drilling, tapping and soldering.
  • Maintain documentation of process.
  • Work as a team when needed.
 
Electrical Fitter responsibilities: 

Locate and repair faults in electrical power supply equipment.

  • Install, position and secure equipment and components in accordance with the specification and ensure that all necessary connections to the equipment are complete.
  • Crimping, soldering, building.
  • Reading electrical engineering drawings.
  • Power supply wiring and construction.
  • Wiring looms.
  • Maintain documentation of process.
