- Product Quality and Reliability Engineer
Southampton
Taking ownership of Quality and Reliability within a niche hi-tech area you will play a vital part in driving forward a range of new product development projects.
Based at a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility you will work closely with cross functional engineering teams on various Quality and reliability issues. You will need to have a great grasp of the fundamentals of quality engineering with the personality where you are not afraid to challenge and overcome objections from internal teams of engineers.
The company design and manufacture hi-tech scientific electronic products which can be used in a multitude of different industries with lean manufacturing principles deployed at the heart of all manufacturing initiatives.
This is a dual site role so you will be based in Southampton, but you will also travel to the other site in the midlands occasionally. This can be arranged with colleagues at times convenient to you.
For this role we are looking for:
At least 3 years’ experience of working in Quality and Reliability engineering with a strong appreciation of electronic products.
A creative approach to problem solving with the ability to work closely with cross functional teams.
The ability to coach and mentor others in quality and reliability improvement techniques.
