Description
Software, product and data company, 10 years old, c50 staff and growing, flat structure, beautiful offices, great place for established engineers with lots of freedom to get on with the job, no red tape.  They are looking for a Delivery Manager with a strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, background in software engineering environments and a deep knowledge of Jira administration and configuration.

Delivery Manager responsibilities
  • Lead a cross-functional team (c9 engineers) on agile best practices
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Use agile techniques to deliver against product vision and timeframes
  • Help develop, document, and scale agile development processes
  • Define and build measurable metrics/KPI to evaluate product delivery and quality
  • Structure/re-configure JIRA to support agile product delivery models
  • Coach and mentor teams
  • Manage some of the people function of the development team
  • Establishing team ceremonies
  • Liaising with commercial teams to establish product priorities
  • Set internal and external team meetings as required
Delivery Manager essential requirements
  • Agile methodologies
  • 7+ years of industry experience
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams,
  • Jira administration & configuration
  • Highly data and metrics driven
Delivery Manager desirable skills
  • API integrations
  • Cloud managed services
  • Managing greenfield projects
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer
