Quality Improvements Manager

We are searching for an experienced and electronically biased Quality Improvements Manager to join a world-class name in the field of professional audio equipment. The successful Quality Manager will be accountable for customer experience and global post-sales support and provide industry leading support. You will be well-suited in managing suppliers and ensuring consistent performance and product quality that are paramount to the business. Ideally you will also have experience of dealing with overseas suppliers and/or managing the quality of products that are shipped internationally.

You will need to be flexible in regard to travel and be happy to travel worldwide,

Main tasks:
  • Lead and manage the Support Team
  • Create a proactive culture so enabling quality improvements to ensure customers receive a reliable product
  • Take ownership of customer issues
  • Responsibility for continuous improvement activities using data analysis of failures ensuring that product issues are actioned and resolved
  • Create an effective reports and data analysis leading to action plans for resolution of further related issues
  • Drive Engineering and other areas of the business to work on targeted product improvements
  • Play a lead role in product life cycle management
Person specification:
  • Degree/HND qualification in Manufacturing, Quality, Electronics or other relevant discipline
  • Worked within the electronics industry
  • Quality and process engineering experience
  • Able to manage a team and motivate individuals
  • Flexible to changing demands of the business
