- Opportunity for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer with an interest in smart materials to help develop a range of specialised nanoscale electronics for applications in drone technology, augmented reality, wearables and consumer electronics. We are looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer ideally with experience of designing nanoscale electronics, system level architecture, analogue and digital circuit design, and PCB schematic capture.
As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, you will be part of a world class team of technologists working with technically challenging smart materials. Your responsibilities will incorporate specifying, developing and evaluating electronic solutions to drive the company’s technology, as well as working closely with micro-manufacturing and semiconductor vendors to understand their needs. There are also opportunities to travel as part of the role.
Suitable Senior Electronic Design Engineers will have a strong technical background with experience in system-level architecture, analogue and digital circuit design, PCB schematic capture suing Altium, as well as a thorough understanding of board level debug and test and a technical degree from a top university.
Desirable skills include closed loop control system design and development, design of embedded control systems, Verilog development and verification and C/C++ development for embedded systems.
