- As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will work on complex and challenging mechanical projects, for an organisation who have carved a reputation as the most technically advanced and innovative company within their growing sector. With challenge comes reward and this position will offer engineers the chance to gain exposure to projects from cradle to grave, working on the development of products that involve precision custom mechanical components and the integration of electronics and fluidics.
The company are looking for the best not only in terms of fundamental mechanical knowledge but also an inquisitive mind that will be able to deliver innovative solutions in a fast paced environment. The role will be a key player in new product development initiatives for the company who pride themselves on their ability to diversify in a competitive market.
As the product is manufactured and tested locally you will also get to work closely and have an involvement in design verification, testing and characterisation. Although the role has no direct reports you will be a senior member of the team and will manage major design projects on new and existing products.
Ideally candidates will have…
A degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience of completing at least one product development cycle from concept through full design and development to successful market introduction.
A background of working on the design of complex precision products and systems involving precision custom mechanical components with a strong understanding of the integration of electronics and ideally fluidics.
