Description
Junior Electronics Test Engineer- Run your own Test area!

This unique role will give you the opportunity to take ownership of a new area of testing for a company with an entrepreneurial mindset, where innovation is at the heart of all future growth. Based at a design and manufacturing facility you will work a diverse range of electro-mechanical products used in a multitude of different industries from subsea to renewable energy.

As the company evolve, they want to develop a reliability programme so are looking for a bright electronics engineer who they can mould into the role.  You will learn from technical leaders and will be sent on various external courses to help the company create a long-term strategy that will eventually be used across the business.

They already have state of the art testing equipment for a number of areas like thermal, vibration and materials testing but they are not really utilising this to its full potential. They want an ambitious engineer to use this equipment and put in place strategic measures which in time will see this area grow as the company expand.

“Big Data” is now at the heart of the organisation where they are constantly monitoring all data from customers across the world. As well as the physical side of testing you will also be involved in driving forward this data to accurately predict and monitor all reliability issues.

This role will probably take around 2 years to really own the whole process but after this there is huge potential to then grow a team around this role, so if you wanted to progress into management then this will give you a great platform.

For this role we are looking for:

-          Ideally an HNC degree or apprenticeship in Electronic Engineering.

-          Some experience of working with electronic testing ideally with an interest or understanding of product reliability.

-          A curious nature with a real desire for learning.
