Description
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a world class team of engineers to primarily develop medical devices from initial specification to production.  The Embedded Software Engineer will also be exposed to a variety of projects, across a range of market sectors as part of their multidisciplined approach.   

The ideal Embedded Software Engineer will have a deep knowledge of developing real time software in C for embedded microcontrollers.  Concurrently a good knowledge of electronics and schematics is important.  Within the role there is an element of dealing directly with clients, so communication skills are also essential.

Essential for the Embedded Software Engineer:
  • Wide experience of embedded software development
  • Ability to take on a development role using your excellent embedded software skills
  • Communication skills to be able to communicate with clients.
  • 1st or 2nd Class degree in software engineering from a university with a strong software reputation
  •  
Desirable for the Embedded Software Engineer:
  • Enthusiastic about the complete process of product delivery
  • Capable of formally presenting and writing reports suitable for clients
  • Working to agree timescales
  • Medical device development would be an advantage.
