Software Test Engineer up to £80k

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to work at an award-winning start-up company specialising in cybersecurity, who are developing a novel security package based on machine learning.  The ideal Software Test Engineer will be proficient in building networks and test tools to simulate network traffic and in scaling testing using virtualized deployment techniques.

The company operates at the sharp end of software development and as such, the Software Test Engineer will have qualified from a top University and demonstrate top academics.  However, they will accept any level of experience.  Ideally the Software Test Engineer will be imaginative, self-motivated with an attention to detail and with the skills to test the products to the limits of scalability and endurance.

The Software Test Engineer will be designing and building automatic and manual tests.  Some of the technologies under test include big data pipelines, endpoint software deployment, kernel software, endpoint simulation, machine learning and network API.  It will also involve simulating large customer deployments and generating suitable test traffic.
