Opportunity for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer with an interest in sonar systems to help develop a range of next generation sonar products for the defence industry. We are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer ideally with experience of designing a range of board layouts as well as significant experience within a branch of electronics such as power, high speed digital, analogue and RF.

As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on technically challenging products from conception through to production. Your responsibilities will incorporate taking ownership of the technical work, interpreting user requirements and flow them down into hardware requirements, as well as designing full system, sub systems, and individual board design to drive the company’s technology.

Suitable Senior Electronic Design Engineers will have a strong technical background with experience across the full product lifecycle, designing a range of board layouts, and significant experience within a branch of electronics such as power, high speed digital, analogue and RF. Experience of design for the defence market and embedded design such as VHDL/embedded C is also desirable.

  • Degree in Electronics or similar subject
