- Technical Product Manager
We are looking for a technical leader who encompasses strong project management skills, team leadership, product ownership and customer interaction! You will work with technology which has huge potential for future growth working with hi-tech equipment which is sold on a global scale.
The role will appeal to a commercially focussed leader who can provide a strategic approach to product development with the ability to drive forward a small but expanding team of cross functional engineers.
Working across the whole product lifecycle you will help to establish processes within the business which will help drive future growth working on projects from concept through to release. Because of the interaction you will have between engineering teams and customers you will get the chance to identify revenue and profitability opportunities which will have a real impact on future product areas within the business.
Although the role will be site based in Royston working closely with technical teams you will also need to travel to customer sites across the world, this will be mainly within the EMEA region and could be up to 25% in total.
For this diverse role we are looking for:
A strong technical management background with a proven track record of delivering commercial solutions within a hi-tech engineering environment.
A cross functional technical awareness with experience of driving forward projects with electronics/software and mechanical engineering content.
