We are seeking an Electronics Test Engineer (manufacturing) for this world beating supplier and manufacturer of Military communication. This is an interesting role with broad responsibilities, working with new products from following test procedures, working at component level all the way to supporting production test and troubleshoot departments, you will be
You will ideally have a technical training qualification in either Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or significant experience in a similar industry, They are a world leader in the aerospace and military market have a great reputation, this role has come about due to an increasing number of new product opportunities
You will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience and a good background in electronics, there are great progression opportunities
Skills which would suit are: -
the main requirement is proven ability to be able to troubleshoot to component level.
Analogue and digital electronics test and fault find to component level.
Assembly and fault finding of RF modules and Circuit card assembly.
Prototype build.
following written test procedures.
be able to hand solder components on a PCB, both surface mount and through-hole.
Use general test equipment such as an oscilloscope.
Tasks will also include taking measurements of voltage, power, temperature, current, etc
reliability testing and failure analysis.
Use and calibration of test equipment
Engineering education to Degree/HND level or other relevant engineering qualification.
