- Description
- UK based R&D company developing video communication systems who have just seen their sales go through the roof. Their products offer unrivalled quality, scalability, security and reliability, due in most part to their proprietary cloud system. Due to unprecedented levels of demand, they are now looking for 2 high calibre software engineers to tackle challenging problems in high performance, real time systems. The whole company is currently working very effectively remotely, although it would be beneficial to be in reach of their offices in West London or Cambridge.Although it’s a “grown up” company with 200 staff, they have a remarkably low number of processes and bureaucracy. A fairly flat structure with career paths for those who wish to stay purely technical and those who have a desire to lead others. They recruit people that match the culture, provide them with interesting work to do, pay them well and everyone is happy. There is very little staff turnover.Due to the highly technical nature of the work and their track record of success through employing the very best engineers, they have high standards. An excellent academic background is essential, you will need to have mostly A grade A levels and a degree from a top University. It’s highly likely that you will have expertise in C, C++ or Python but not essential. They know that their great products and commercial success come directly from the technical passion that their development teams put into their work; consequently, they make sure they provide an environment that cultivates the talents of software engineers.
