Description
Applications Scientist- Molecular Biology- Liquid Handling 

Working with truly cutting-edge science within liquid handling technology, this role will give you the opportunity to take ideas and turn them into reality. Working with a world class teams of engineers and scientists this role would be perfect for a PhD grad or Applications Scientist who has an excellent academic background who wants a commercially focussed role.

You will work on a mix of new and existing technology with a real focus on a new product which is at early concept stage. This will give you will get the chance to help shape the development journey working on in-house lab discovery work whilst also working closely with beta partners and internal design teams.

You will have your own lab space where you will take ownership of the space with responsibility for all practical work and managing supplies and stock etc. The products you will work with will be  liquid handling technology with a focus on molecular biology and genomics so you will be able to combine research skills with new product introduction within a company who design and manufacture all products on-site.

For this role we are looking for:

-          A good degree or PhD in a biological science from a leading university.


-          A strong understanding of molecular biology and next generation sequencing.


-          The ability to build commercial relationships and work closely with cross functional teams of engineers.
