- Description
- Experienced IC design engineer to develop mixed-signal blocks and integrated circuits. As part of an expanding R&D team, you will use your knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design to create new devices and contribute to the technical direction of the company.
We are looking for an analogue IC designer who understands design blocks, schematic capture and design verification. Someone who has experience with SPICE and Cadence tools and robust digital design experience including timing closure. Someone who is not afraid to suggest new ideas and invent original ways to do things.
IC Design Engineer key tasks:
- Analogue and mixed signal VLSI design and evaluation:
- Concept and feasibility study
- Design of blocks
- Schematic capture
- IC layout
- Simulation
- Design verification
Skills and experience:
- A track record of innovation in VLSI design and layout of analogue/digital and mixed-signal circuits.
- Demonstrable experience with SPICE, extracted & mixed-mode simulations and verification tools (ideally Calibre)
- Robust digital design experience (Verilog, synthesis, timing closure)
- Scripting Unix/Linux, sh, perl, C
